Turn counting into a game your child will love!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Lay out the cookies
Place all the cookie pieces on a flat surface. You’ll find:
Cookie halves with chocolate chips
Cookie halves with numbers
Some cookies split into parts with chips only (for extra challenge!)
Step 2: Count & Match
Ask your child to:
Count the chocolate chips on one half
Find the number half that matches it
Join both halves to complete the cookie
➕ Step 3: Try Combination Cookies
Mix chip-only pieces and let your child combine two halves to make a number (e.g., 2 chips + 3 chips = 5). Great for practicing early addition!
🧠 Step 4: Play Your Way
Make it fun and flexible:
“Find the cookie with the most chips!”
“Can you make a cookie with 7 chips?”
“Match all the cookies as fast as you can!”
